Sebastian Droste joined Quirin Privatbank AG in January 2018 and has more than 10 years of experience in capital markets with various private and investment banks.
He studied business administration and finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the University of California Riverside.
He also deepened his knowledge of Quantitative Investing and Algorithmic Trading at Saïd Business
School, University of Oxford.
Sebastian is in charge of the Software & IT Service sector, covering companies such as Nemetschek, Bechtle and GFT Technologies.
He is a regular outperformer (recently ranked #27 out of over 2200 contributors at alpha capture systems) and has repeatedly been recognized as a first ranked analyst on Bloomberg for his covered companies.

In this framework, he also develops proprietary investment strategies and algorithms (both purely technical or based on fundamental data) for institutional clients and backtests their own ideas.
